The MAUI XAPHOON -C- is THE ORIGINAL XAPHOON!
The Xaphoon’s inventor, Brian Lee Wittmann, has been making every one of these bamboo Xaphoons in his workshop on Maui / Hawaii for over 40 years.
The bamboo for the instrument is cut directly on Maui from one of the fast re-growing bamboo forests, stored, and later made into the Xaphoons. If you watch Brian building the instruments, you realize what an artist he is.
It’s true that most of the Maui Xaphoons are very similar, but they are never identical. The bamboo that grows on Maui is superb for building musical instruments. It’s robust, resistant to moisture and has very beautiful tonal properties. The MAUI XAPHOON is suitable for taking with you on your travels, as well as for playing in a band or around the campfire. It harmonizes very well with the human voice, string instruments or a piano.
Every instrument is a unique item! Purchasing from a nearby dealer can be an advantage.

Delivery costs vary dependant upon weight, size, location and method. Prices are calculated when items are placed in your basket.
For standard delivery within the UK we use the Royal Mail 48 hour tracked service.
Fedex or DHL are used for next day services. (Highlands & Islands are often two day services)

No quibble 28 day returns policy
You should let us know within 14 days of receiving the goods if you wish to return an item. You then have a further 14 days from letting us know to get it back to us. Once the item has been despatched it becomes your responsibility to return an order or item in an unmarked and resaleable condition before we can issue a refund to you. Please note that return postage charges cannot be refunded unless the product is faulty or not as described. Items not returned within the agreed period of time may not be accepted, or may be subject to a 20% restocking fee, this will be at our discretion. Also please note that this only applies to individual customers.
