The MAUI XAPHOON -Bb- is the XAPHOON in the baritone register. Every single MAUI XAPHOON is handmade by the instrument’s inventor, Brian Lee Wittman, in his small workshop on Hawaii. The bamboo for the instruments comes directly from the bamboo forests of Maui.
Every instrument is a unique item! It’s true that most of the Maui Xaphoons are very similar, but they are never identical. If you want to choose the instrument you prefer then purchasing from a nearby dealer is certainly an advantage.
The bamboo that grows on Maui is superb for building musical instruments. It’s robust, resistant to moisture and has very beautiful tonal properties.
The Xaphoon in Bb is a whole tone lower than the C instrument, a little bit longer and more sonorous in tone. It is suitable for playing with other Bb instruments, or for pieces that are written in Bb keys.

Delivery costs vary dependant upon weight, size, location and method. Prices are calculated when items are placed in your basket.
For standard delivery within the UK we use the Royal Mail 48 hour tracked service.
Fedex or DHL are used for next day services. (Highlands & Islands are often two day services)

No quibble 28 day returns policy
You should let us know within 14 days of receiving the goods if you wish to return an item. You then have a further 14 days from letting us know to get it back to us. Once the item has been despatched it becomes your responsibility to return an order or item in an unmarked and resaleable condition before we can issue a refund to you. Please note that return postage charges cannot be refunded unless the product is faulty or not as described. Items not returned within the agreed period of time may not be accepted, or may be subject to a 20% restocking fee, this will be at our discretion. Also please note that this only applies to individual customers.
